Rehabilitation and long care center

About three kilometres away, in a calm and serene ambience and close to the banks of the Thodupuzha River, is the hospital’s 250-bedded Msgr. Francis Thekkekara Memorial Rehabilitation and Long Care Centre. Here the patients are trained in occupations like cultivation of flora and fauna, tailoring, detergent and cleaning lotion manufacturing, candle making, screen printing, poultry and fish farming, goat rearing, Big shopper & Carry Bag making and apiculture. They are also provided with facilities for recreational games, reading with the aim to improve their physical and mental well-being. There is also a spacious and aesthetically pleasing chapel for spiritual activities
