Forty Seven Years of Compassion & Rehabilitation
Sacred Heart Hospital Paynkulam was founded in 1979 to address the growing need for specialized clinical psychiatry and structured rehabilitation in Kerala. Our clinical team works with patients struggling with severe depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and behavioral dependencies.
1979: Hospital Founded
Founded by the Sacred Heart Congregation as one of the pioneer psychiatric hospitals in Central Kerala.
1995: Rehabilitation Expansion
Opened dedicated residential rehabilitation wards and specialized occupational therapy units.
Present: Integrated Care
